In this quarter’s report, Toyota was honored as the most consider brand in non-luxury sedan, coupe, and hatchback while also taking the top spot for non-luxury SUV and CUV categories.
“Regaining the number one position by Kelley Blue Book as the most considered auto brand among shoppers is a strong indication that consumers recognize our commitment to earn their confidence in the safety, quality and value of our vehicles,” said Bob Carter, Group Vice President and General Manager, Toyota Division in a Toyota press release.
Atlantic Toyota as well as Huntington Toyota shoppers have watched Toyota work hard to come back from the unfortunate set of recalls that began last year. Toyota used its 50 years of experience to make a comeback and gain back the loyalty and trust of its customers.
From the beginning of the Market Intelligence Brand Watch Study in 2007, Toyota was in first place for the title. Toyota kept the title until the third quarter of 2009. This quarter of 2010 would be the first time since 2009 that Toyota has enjoyed the top spot.
