Atlantic Toyota and Sunrise Toyota two Toyota dealerships on Sunrise highway in Suffolk County must be excited to know that Toyota has received recognition for 10 different segments at the 7th Annual Vincentric’s Best Value in America awards for the 2011 model year.
Who is Vincentric you ask and why would Sunrise Toyota and Atlantic Toyota be interested in what they have to say? Well Vincentric is a private automotive data collection and analysis firm that provides data along with their insights to the automotive industry. Their main purpose is to analyze the overall cost of owning and operating vehicles, and as an independent appraiser their findings are considered valued.
The criteria for the Best Value in America awards are based on information such as depreciation, fuel, insurance, opportunity cost, financing, maintenance, taxes and state fees and repairs. Using these criteria a cost-of-ownership analysis is created and respected by many Long Island customers choosing one of these two Toyota Dealers located on Sunrise highway in Suffolk County. Vincentric calculates this based on a five-year basis and for annual mileages of 10,000, 15,000 or 20,000 miles.
Toyota announced that the following vehicles won model-specific segment:

• Camry Hybrid – Mid-Size Hybrid Sedan

• Highlander Hybrid – SUV, Mid-Size Hybrid
• Land Cruiser – SUV, Mid-Size Premium (fourth year in a row)
• Prius – Compact, Advanced Fuel Technology (six-time winner)
• Tacoma – Compact Pickup (seventh year in a row…more than any other vehicle)
• Venza – Crossover, Mid-Size (two-time winner)
It is safe to assume that the low cost of ownership and the great resale value had an impact on Atlantic Toyota and Sunrise Toyota customers’ decision in choosing a new car.
